The Render That Sells Your Model

Buyers scroll. Your thumbnail gets roughly one second to say what the thing is and whether it is any good. A screenshot of a grey grid loses that second.
Light it before you frame it
Open Studio and pick a look preset — that alone replaces flat viewport light with a three-point rig: a key that shapes the form, a fill that keeps shadows readable, a rim that separates the model from the background. Then adjust one thing at a time.
Give it ground and sky
A model floating in void reads as a file. A model standing on grass under drifting clouds reads as something in a world. Studio has both, from the vanilla textures, and the cloud layer sits above the model automatically.
Frame it like a product
- Turn the model three-quarters — never dead-on, which flattens everything.
- Fill the frame, leaving a small margin. Empty space is wasted at thumbnail size.
- Use the same angle for every product in your store. A consistent grid looks like a brand.
Export at 2× or 4×
Marketplace cards downscale. Rendering at 2× and letting the browser shrink it gives a crisp result; rendering at 1× and letting it stretch gives mush. The PNG buttons are right there under the look settings.
Then check it small
Look at your image at the size it will actually appear — a card in a grid. If you cannot tell what the object is, the render failed, however nice it looks at full size.
