Make a Minecraft Model Without Installing Anything

Most people who want a custom mob, a weapon or a piece of furniture for their server stop at the first step: installing a desktop modelling tool, learning where its files go, and hoping the export matches what the plugin expects.

The MineAssets Editor removes that step. It runs in the browser, it is free, and your work is saved in the tab as you go.

What you can do

• Build with cubes and bones, the same structure Minecraft itself uses.
• Paint directly on the model, or import a PNG texture.
• Animate bones on a timeline with keyframes, then preview the loop.
• Export to .bbmodel, Java model JSON, or Bedrock geometry and animations.
• Render the result in Studio and get a PNG or an MP4.

Start from something, not from nothing

A blank grid is intimidating. The editor ships templates — a humanoid, a block, a weapon — so the first thing you do is move a limb rather than guess where to click. File > New Model lists them.

It speaks Blockbench

If you already have .bbmodel files, drop one onto the page. Box UVs are converted to per-face UVs, bezier keyframe handles are preserved, and the import tells you plainly what it changed. Your existing library is not stranded.

When you are done

Publishing to your MineAssets store takes one click from the editor: the model is baked to 3D and the thumbnail is captured with the studio lighting, so the listing looks like the render and not like a screenshot of a grid.
