Custom Items: Nexo vs ItemsAdder vs Oraxen

If you want custom items, blocks, armor or furniture on a vanilla-client server, you will choose between three plugins. All three pack custom textures and models into a resource pack and register the items server-side.

The three options Oraxen is the long-standing choice with a big ecosystem and lots of tutorials. ItemsAdder (SpigotMC) is feature-rich — custom blocks, GUIs, emotes — at the cost of a steeper learning curve. Nexo is the newer, actively developed option many creators now favour for its clean config and drag-and-drop workflow.

Pick one and commit Choose based on the assets you plan to buy and the plugins you already run. Many products on Mineassets list which of these they support, and some ship a drag-and-drop config out of the box. Whatever you pick, standardise on one — mixing item plugins on a single server is the fastest way to create resource-pack conflicts.
