MythicMobs handles behaviour; ModelEngine handles the look. Together they are the standard stack for custom server bosses, and they are built to talk to each other.

Start with the fight, not the model Block out the boss's phases, skills and telegraphs in MythicMobs first, using a placeholder entity. Once the encounter is fun with a plain zombie, you have earned the right to make it beautiful.

Match the hitbox to the silhouette Attach your ModelEngine model and tune the hitbox to what players actually see. A boss that looks huge but hits like a small mob feels broken, so align the collision shape with the visual and test at real ping. Finish with a short, readable death animation plus a skill that drops loot and clears adds.

You will find ready-made bosses in the Models & Textures category, most already wired for MythicMobs.
