Build a Spawn That Stays Fast

Your spawn is the first thing every player sees, and the easiest place to accidentally wreck your TPS. A fast hub is not luck — it is a set of choices made while building.

Bake light, budget entities Dynamic light sources and flickering effects are expensive at scale, so favour static, baked-in lighting and fake glow with texture work. Item frames, armor stands and decorative mobs add up fast — set a hard cap and remove anything not carrying its weight.

Ship it schematic-first Avoid decorative redstone: clocks and constant-update contraptions run every tick whether anyone is watching or not. Schematic-first hubs — the kind you paste with WorldEdit and go — are the safest bet on Paper.
